Can I use Match Pitch with my selmer Paris?

What is Match pitch made of?

 

The barrels are 3D printed from a high impact polymer.

 

 

Why the pin?

 

The pin in your barrel serves two purposes. It indicates the 67mm mark and it keeps the barrel from being disassembled.

The pin is hollow to ensure that when the barrel is turned past the 67mm mark by force, it will yield before the barrel is damaged.

We include 3 replacement pins with your barrel, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more.

The pin is NOT necessary for your barrel to work properly. It can be removed if you want your barrel to adjust past 67mm.
